ForensicCrash.net — Community Update
The International Crash Investigators' Information Portal
Connecting crash reconstruction professionals with the tools, training, and talent they need — and giving innovative small businesses direct access to the community that needs them most.
When we launched ForensicCrash.net, the goal was simple: give crash reconstruction professionals a place that actually works for them. Not a social media page buried in an algorithm. Not a vendor site pretending to be a community. A real platform — built by practitioners, for practitioners.
We're now over 250 members across 11 countries and 4 continents. Six non-profit organizations and twelve industry advertisers are on board, with more in the pipeline.
Here's what's live, what's new, and where we're headed.
What's Live Right Now
Professional Directory — A searchable directory of crash reconstruction and forensic investigation professionals. Your profile, your specialties, your visibility. Premium members get a public directory card so the industry can find you.
Training Calendar — Courses, conferences, and certification programs from providers across the country. Filter by category, region, or date. If you're offering training, Expert-tier members and advertisers can post directly to the calendar. My goal with this is to have a list of every conference in one place in the next couple of years.
Jobs Board — Open positions in crash reconstruction, forensic investigation, and related fields. Expert-tier members and advertisers can post opportunities and reach qualified professionals.
Marketplace — Equipment, books, software, and services for the crash reconstruction community. Whether you're selling a used total station or browsing reference material in the Bookstore, this is where the industry shops.
Advertiser Directory — Training providers, software developers, equipment manufacturers, and service companies — all in one place. Every advertiser gets a profile page with their logo, description, categories, and direct links to their site.
Internal Messaging — Direct communication between members without exposing personal email addresses.
What We Just Finished
Advertiser Portal Upgrades — Campaign management, media galleries, category tagging, and contributor management — all accessible from a single portal. Advertisers can manage their presence without jumping between pages or waiting on an admin to answer an email.
Email Preferences — You control what we send you. Once you're logged in, your dashboard gives you full control over which email categories you receive. Account notifications are the only thing we won't let you turn off — everything else is your call.
Welcome Coupon — Every new member, even our free Basic account gets a $10 coupon delivered to their account inbox. It works toward anything on the platform — membership upgrades, job postings, training listings, Marketplace items, you name it.
Quick Share — Our contact-sharing system built for the way this industry actually meets. No paper forms. No business cards lost in a bag. Just a QR code.
Quick Share is live today. If you're a trainer or vendor running a class, booth, or demo, we can issue you a code that lets attendees scan and share their contact info with you on the spot. It's fast, it's clean, and you walk away with a real lead list — not a pocket full of wrinkled cards. Reach out now if you want a code for your next event.
Membership Tiers
Registration is free, and a free account gets you more than you might expect.
Basic (Free) — Access to community tools, the Marketplace, internal messaging, and your $10 welcome coupon. All you need to join is your name and email — we want you to have access to our resources.
Professional ($20/year) — Public directory listing, premium profile fields, and an additional $10 wallet credit deposited into your account on signup.
Expert ($50/year) — Everything in Professional, plus the ability to post jobs and training events, and a $40 wallet credit on signup.
The wallet credits and your welcome coupon stack. Upgrade to Expert and you're looking at $50 in platform credit on day one. We let you keep your spending power on the platform.
What's Coming
Training Connection — A two-sided system where members can post what training they need, and providers can see where the demand is. If enough people in your region are asking for the same course, we help make the connection. We're building this now, with a target release date of May, 2026.
Quick Share Conference — Coming mid-April. This is the full event-level system — conference organizers can enroll all their vendors under one umbrella, connect interested attendees to the right exhibitors, and run internal random drawings from the attendee pool. Session attendance tracking is on the roadmap after that.
Marketplace Expansion — Dedicated sections for software, services, and new products from our advertisers. Each vendor keeps their own commerce model — we just help them reach you. The Bookstore is already live; more sections are rolling out soon. The advertisers asked for a dedicated market for their products, and we're building it.
News & Articles — A member-driven news board where the community can submit articles, case studies, and industry updates. We'll share the best content across our social channels.
