Many newer General Motors vehicles are now supported in the Bosch CDR software for the occupant classification sensor (OCS) module. These sensors are also known as advanced occupant sensor (AOS) modules.
Bosch added support for numerous Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC models starting in software v24.3 (released Dec. 20, 2024). The 2025-25 Acura ZDX and 2024-26 Honda Prologue are also supported since those platforms were manufactured by General Motors.
Some models are supported as far back as 2020 through the current model year. Data collection is currently only supported via the DLC (data link connector) and must be done using the CDR2 software.

Data overview
- The AOS modules only record data associated with a deployment event.
- They may contain pre-event and “at event” data.
- Recorded events cannot be overwritten or cleared by the AOS module.
- The AOS module can store up to three events.
- In addition to seat occupancy status, they can capture pre-crash speeds 30 seconds (yes thirty) prior to the event every two seconds.
