Terms of Service
Last Updated: June 23rd, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ForensicCrash.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This platform is a professional network intended for crash investigation professionals, engineers, and reconstructionists.
2. Who This Platform Is For
ForensicCrash.net is built for the crash investigation community and the people and businesses connected to it. Because a crash can become a criminal case, a civil claim, or a source of real injury, that community reaches across the work: investigators, reconstructionists, engineers, expert witnesses, and trainers, together with the legal and justice professionals the work serves — attorneys, prosecutors, defenders, courts, law enforcement, insurers, and the vendors and organizations that support any of them. Membership is a privilege extended to this community, not a public service open to everyone.
We reserve the right to decline, suspend, or remove any account that falls outside this community, at our discretion. This is separate from the conduct standards below: an account may be removed simply because it does not belong here, regardless of how the user has behaved.
3. Our Role — A Venue, Not a Party
ForensicCrash.net is a venue. We give members, advertisers, trainers, employers, and vendors a place to publish listings and connect — across the Directory, the Marketplace, job postings, training classes, and advertiser profiles. That content comes from the users who post it, not from us.
We don't endorse, certify, or guarantee any user, listing, product, service, class, or credential on the platform — being listed here is not a recommendation by us. When we review or moderate, we're checking for legitimacy, relevance, and compliance with our rules, not quality, accuracy, or qualifications. We don't independently verify the credentials or licenses anyone claims unless we say so in writing for a specific feature (such as a verified badge).
Any deal you make with another user — a purchase, sale, hire, or class enrollment — is between you and them. We're not a party to it and aren't responsible for how it turns out. Look into the other person and their claims before you rely on them and use your own judgment; you deal with other users at your own risk.
4. Professional Conduct
All users agree to provide accurate information in their directory profiles. Users must conduct themselves professionally and ethically. ForensicCrash.net reserves the right to mute or delete any postings (Profiles, Jobs, Training, or Ads) that are deemed unprofessional, inaccurate, or harmful to the community.
5. Financial Transactions
ForensicCrash.net utilizes secure third-party payment processors (Stripe) for all transactions, including account top-ups and ad purchases. ForensicCrash.net does not store your credit card numbers or sensitive financial data on our servers.
6. Content Ownership and Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for the content they post, including Profiles, Garage Sale items, Job listings, and Training events. You agree that your postings will not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
7. Limitation of Liability
ForensicCrash.net provides a platform for information sharing but does not guarantee the accuracy of user-posted data or the quality of items purchased through the Garage Sale marketplace. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForensicCrash.net is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage arising from user-posted content or from your dealings with other users. You use the platform at your own risk.
8. Termination of Access
ForensicCrash.net reserves the right to block or terminate any account that violates these terms. Blocked users may have their status re-evaluated on a scheduled basis as determined by site administration.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
1. Content Review: All Ad Campaigns and Vanity Slug requests are subject to administrative review. We reserve the right to reject content that does not align with community professional standards.
2. Refund Eligibility: If your submitted content is rejected by administration, you are entitled to a full refund of the specific fee paid for that item.
3. Refund Methods:
- Wallet Credit: By default, refunds are issued as a credit to your account balance for immediate use on other site services.
- Original Payment Reversal: You may request a reversal to your original credit card; these are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
4. Completed Services: Once a Job Posting or Training Event is live and approved, fees are non-refundable.
