Robert Ventura is the founder and owner of CrashDecode LLC and a retired Illinois State Police Master Sergeant with 29 years of law enforcement experience. A Certified Crash Reconstruction Specialist since 2003, Robert has extensive experience investigating and reconstructing serious motor vehicle crashes and has held leadership roles within the Illinois State Police Traffic Crash Reconstruction Unit. He has served as a lead instructor in traffic crash investigation, total station mapping, and UAS (drone) operations, and in 2023 provided traffic crash investigation instruction for the U.S. Department of State in the Republic of Georgia.

Through CrashDecode, Robert provides EDR data retrieval, crash reconstruction consulting, vehicle documentation, UAS photography, and technical review of crash evidence for attorneys, insurers, investigators, and other authorized clients.
